Croswell Enterprises, LTD has always been community minded since 1969. We have donated materials and/or labor when possible. We generally keep a low profile but you can see a small sampling of projects we've aided over recent years. Unfortunately we aren't able to help every worthy cause and concentrate our efforts in the Town of Marbletown area with an emphasis on not-for profits, churches, environmental and others.
Ribbon Park, Town of Hurley
We donated 6 yards of Dynamulch to enhance the garden beds in front of Town Hall. We are proud to support the Hurley Heritage Society in this endeavor.
The Marbletown Environmental Commission is planning a Pollinator Garden at the corner of Route 213 and Berme Road in High Falls. We plan to supply 15 cubic yards of Dynagro Garden Soil as well as mulch. Read about it at http://www.highfallscivic.org/
Pollinator Garden at Town of Marbletown Municipal Center
In July 2016, we contributed soil and mulch to build four beautiful beds at the Marbletown's Municipal Center. The Gardens were expanded in August 2017 by two beds which were dedicated to Maraleen Manos-Jones "The Butterfly Woman". According to Manos-Jones, “I am grateful to the Marbletown ECC for this honor and appreciative of all whose hard work has made this possible, with a special thank you to landscape designer Eric Stewart for creating such beautiful pollinator gardens. As I have inspired this garden, it is my hope that it will inspire many individuals and communities to do the same. Together, we can save our pollinators, our food and our planet by planting gardens.”

"Croswell Enterprises was very easy to work with, very supportive of our limited funds for our new garden installation. They were very accommodating as the amount of mulch that we needed changed within a very short period of time. Their driver was very courteous, prompt and worked with us to put the soil and mulch where it would be easiest for our volunteers to haul to the garden beds. Dynamulch™ is the best around, and our plantings thrived in it all summer. The gardens look wonderful and people have really noticed- we even had a couple take their wedding pictures on the grounds! Many people at our recent Christmas Carol program remarked how wonderful the gardens looked, even in the winter weather! We plan to use Dynamulch™ every year to ensure the continued health and growth of our beautiful new gardens!
Thank you again for being so helpful."

In 2000, we were approached by Cheryl Alloway of the Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative Extension with plans to start a Xericape Garden at UCCC. We donated all of the soil, mulch and stone for the original gardens. Cornell Cooperative Extension uses this garden for public workshops. The garden has since expanded to include a rain garden and pergola.
A big, big thank you to Croswell Organic Soils and Mulches for their ongoing support of the South Pine Street City Farm and the Dig Kids! On Friday they delivered their local and organic Dynamulch to the farm. The Dynamulch will be used to mulch the garden beds, helping to suppress weeds and retain moisture while conditioning the soil. In May, The Dig Kids and I will be moving some of the Dynamulch over to the garden beds at the Hodge Center and the Van Buren Street Playground. Croswell's makes a variety of organic soils and mulches right down the road in Marbletown.
